We will pick you up from all areas of Lombok, including Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air.
Travel to the western part of Sekotong where we will cross to Gili Gede. The duration of the journey will depend on the distance from your accommodation and breakfast time.
Upon arriving at Tembowong Port in Sekotong, we will be welcomed by guides and boat crew to prepare for boarding. The arrival time will depend on the distance where we will pick you up.

On the second day, after enjoying breakfast at the accommodation, we will commence our snorkeling journey from the renowned Gili Gede bay, famous for its beautiful coral reefs. At Gili Gede, we will explore the underwater world through snorkeling, witnessing the beauty of coral formations, various fish, and marine life. Moreover, we can swim alongside friendly stingrays at the White Sand Beach, immersing ourselves in the beauty of nature.
After thoroughly exploring Gili Gede, we will continue our journey to Gili Layar, known as an exotic small island with stunning beaches and mesmerizing coral reefs. There, we can engage in snorkeling to witness the underwater marvels, including turtles and diverse tropical fish. Furthermore, we can bask in the beauty of the beach, sunbathe under the rays of the sun, or simply relax beneath the coconut trees, reveling in the refreshing allure of this small island. Access to Gili Gede, Gili Asahan, and Gili Layar can be done through Sekotong Harbor, precisely at Pelabuhan Tembowong, located approximately 50 km southwest of Mataram City. The estimated travel time from Lombok International Airport to Sekotong Harbor is about 2 hours by private vehicles like motorcycles or cars.
Meanwhile, from Lembar Harbor, the estimated travel time to Sekotong Harbor is about 1 hour. There are also some transportation providers, such as travel services to the harbor. Unfortunately, there is currently no public transportation available that can directly take tourists from Lembar Harbor to Sekotong Harbor.
From Pelabuhan Tembowong, tourists can rent boats or speedboats to reach Gili Gede, Gili Asahan, and Gili Layar. The travel time by boat or speedboat varies depending on weather conditions and sea currents. The estimated travel time is usually around 15-20 minutes.
The good news is that there are now fast boats operating from Bali directly to Gili Gede, making it easy for tourists visiting Bali to also explore Gili Gede and the other islands. The distance from Padang Bai Harbor to Gili Gede is about 1.5 – 2 hours of travel using the fast boat. Using the fast boat from Bali will save time, even though it may be a bit more expensive.
However, it’s important to note that the above travel time estimates are approximate and can change depending on traffic conditions and other factors. It’s advisable for tourists to pay attention to weather conditions and ensure to arrange transportation to Sekotong Harbor in advance to facilitate their journey.
In addition to hotels, Gili Gede & Gili Asahan also boast restaurants and eateries ready to serve the finest local and international cuisines.
